Refund Policy

At SME Consulting Services, we are committed to providing our clients with high-quality software development services. We understand that there may be instances where a refund is requested, and we have established the following policy to ensure a fair resolution. Please review this policy carefully.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

  1. Project Cancellation:
    • If a client cancels a project before the commencement of work, a full refund will be provided.
    • If a client cancels a project after work has begun but before 50% completion, a partial refund may be granted based on the work completed.
  2. Non-Delivery of Project:
    • If SME Consulting Services fails to deliver the project within the agreed-upon timeline without prior notice or mutual agreement for an extension, the client is eligible for a full refund.
  3. Scope of Work Not Met:
    • If the final deliverable does not meet the specifications outlined in the signed agreement, and SME Consulting Services is unable to rectify the issues within a reasonable timeframe, a partial refund may be issued based on the undelivered scope.
  4. Technical Issues:
    • If there are unresolved technical issues that render the software unusable, and SME Consulting Services is unable to fix these issues within a reasonable timeframe, a partial refund may be considered.

2. Non-Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

  1. Change of Mind:
    • Refunds will not be granted for a change of mind once the project has commenced.
  2. Client-Induced Delays:
    • If delays in the project are due to the client’s failure to provide necessary information, feedback, or resources, no refund will be provided.
  3. Third-Party Software or Tools:
    • Refunds will not be issued for issues related to third-party software, tools, or services that SME Consulting Services does not control.
  4. Completed Projects:
    • Once a project has been completed and delivered as per the agreed-upon specifications, no refunds will be provided.

3. Refund Request Process

  1. Submission of Request:
    • Clients must submit a formal refund request in writing to [email protected] within 30 days of the project delivery or cancellation.
  2. Review and Response:
    • Upon receipt of a refund request, SME Consulting Services will review the case and respond within 10 business days.
  3. Resolution:
    • If a refund is deemed appropriate, SME Consulting Services will process the refund within 14 business days from the date of approval.

4. Additional Considerations

  • Payment Gateway Fees:
    • Any non-refundable fees charged by payment gateways will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Dispute Resolution:
    • In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek resolution through mediation before pursuing further legal action.
